Since its opening in 2008, the "Altes Kelterhaus" in Alsheim has been a popular destination for enjoying select, light meals and fine wines from the Rheinhessen region.

The restaurant scores points in the colder months with its beautiful vaulted cellar, a bygone era as a typical "Kelterhaus" (wine press house), and not least for its cozy, almost enchanted ambiance with wood-burning stoves and rare wines in atmospheric candlelight.

In summer, however, the spacious, beautifully landscaped beer garden, located in the heart of the "Alsheimer Frühmesse" vineyards, with its terraced outdoor area on various levels, invites you to linger outdoors. The beautiful flowers and plants on display can be purchased from the adjoining plant farm.

You can also rent the entire venue exclusively for family and corporate celebrations. This way, you and your guests can enjoy the perfect service and the space in private.

The cozy, rustic cellar and the colorful, floral winery garden are equally ideal for convivial evenings with a changing music and cultural program, which has been presented on selected weekends with selected artists for over three years.
