On August 31, 2011, new seating made of robinia wood was inaugurated. The QIN project “Herzstück Neumärker Straße”, which was awarded an award by the state of Lower Saxony, announced a competition in which students from HBK Braunschweig were supposed to design furniture for relaxing, meeting and playing. The winner of the competition, Antje Pesel, designed the furniture, which was on display in the week from 22nd to 26th. August 2011 were installed on Neumärker Straße.
