The St. George's Chapel is located at the beginning of the Neumärker Straße pedestrian zone in Helmstedt in the immediate vicinity of the Hausmannsturm. On the east gable of the chapel there is a richly decorated pointed arch window with new tracery. On the north eaves (Neumärker Straße) is the former main entrance with early Gothic columns and a pointed arched tympanum (today's entrance to the jewelry store) and two further pointed arched windows, one of which served as a model for the office sign (scale replica). On the south side there is a pointed arch door with twisted cord and leaves (today's office entrance). (Source: Wikipedia)
