    Hiking

The Aiplspitz is one of the most striking mountains at Spitzingsee. Some places require walkers to be sure-footed and free from giddiness. On the descent you should plan the Jägerkamp, which is right next door.

We recommend the ascent either from the Spitzingsattel (via Schönfeldhütte) or from Geitau via the craggy north ridge. The views to the Wendelstein and over the Schliersee mountains. The view of the otherwise less prominent Kleinmiesing, whose striking rock face can be admired from the Aiplspitz summit, is also beautiful.

    Mountaineering

Beautiful mountain hike with everything that goes with it, also a little Kraxle at the end and v.a. GREAT VIEWS. A wonderful scenic mountain and not as busy as other peaks around it. Refreshments are also available.
