Heimberg Castle, also called Hellmat Castle or Hellmat Castle Ruin, is the remainder of a hilltop castle on the Schloßbuckel of the Heimberg (350 m above sea level).
The probably built in the 13th century castle was the seat of the occupied since 1253 gentlemen of Heimberg, but they sold early and partly came from the widow of Heinrich von Böckingen to the house Hohenlohe. Presumably, the castle was destroyed after 1344.

The artificially raised a few meters castle area has a diameter of about 50 meters. A moat several meters deep, where today the road leads to the mountain spur, protected the castle on the southwest attack side and secured on the other three sides ring ditches. Wall remains point to a ring wall, a gatehouse and other buildings. The still approximately 1.8 meters high mountain frog with rare herringbone pattern (Opus spicatum) has an outer circumference of 5.5 by 5.7 meters and an inner of 3.2 by 3.2 meters. The literature also refers to humpback quasern masonry.
