This is the old road Thusis Rongellen, before the tunnels were built at Rongellen. This piece is part of Via Spluga. The road slowly falls, there are fallen pieces of rock, and sometimes half the width of the street is missing due to landslides. Nevertheless, this road piece is suitable for racing bikes, if you want to avoid the tunnels. The beginning of the track in Thusis at the Nolla bridge is not well signposted.

Road cycling

Old road now closed to motor traffic, the surface is badly broken in some places but it's still passable on a road bike. Much better than the alternative route (long tunnels)
