Cycling
The cycle tour on the Schambachtalbahn cycle path runs along the former railway line between Ingolstadt-Nord and Riedenburg, which opened in 1904 and was finally shut down in 1972 for passenger transport. The 45-kilometer cycle path starts at Ingolstadt main station and runs through Ingolstadt on the former railway line of the Schambachtalbahn.
