Telpost Breskens is known by many birdwatchers. On good days, golden oriole and heron can be seen flying over the beach on their long migration route while red and black kites fly over the dike. The mouth of the Westerschelde in Breskens is a favorite spot for birds heading north, whether they continue their migration to the east or whether they cross the Westerschelde and continue their way north.
