A small covered chapel - located outside the village of Ulmen - contains the so-called "Antonius Cross". The Way of the Cross, which begins at St. Matthew's Church in Ulmen, ends here at the same time as the XIVth Station.
The facility also houses a spacious rest area.

According to a legend, the origin is said to the crusader Heinrich v. Ulmen (born 1175) go back after having previously deposited a bag of earth from Christ's tomb at the cities of the cross.
A local high and lower cross is called 1595.
The turning point of earlier corridor processions and the end of the path of Christ's suffering.

The small chapel with the Antonius Cross was extensively renovated by the Eifelverein in 2019. Nearby is a suite consisting of two benches and a table. If you are lucky, the relaxation lounger is also free, so that the beautiful and well-kept place at the Antoniuskreuz is perfect for a break.
