The Bürglhütte at the foot of the 2,366-meter-high Gaisstein is a popular destination for mountain bikers and hikers. It is possible to drive from Stuhlfelden to the hut by car. Hikers can park a little below the hut in unmarked parking areas. We parked about 1.5 km from the hut and went over the Leitenkofel to the Geißstein and then back via the hut.
