The Staffkogel, at 2,115 meters, is a panoramic peak at the head of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm valley and a popular destination for fit hikers. The ascent leads over gentle alpine slopes and the Oberreiter Joch up to the grassy summit, which offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Glemmtal valley, the Hohe Tauern mountains, the Wilder Kaiser, and the Steinberge mountains.
