Hiking

The observatory tells the story of Mount St. Helens and the impact of its 1980 eruption - on the land as well as on animal and human life.

Hiking

The observatory was named after the volcanologist David A. Johnston, who died here on 18.05.1980. Here you can learn a lot about the disaster. You should definitely watch a movie.
