Jimi Hendrix Memorial Stone Fehmarn

A few days after his last concert here on September 6, 1070, Hendrix died of alcohol and pill poisoning. 25,000 fans listened to the 75 minutes of the concert. This monument has been there since 1997, the stone is 2.5m high and weighs about 6.5 tons. It can be found about 600m north of the Flügger lighthouse.

Reminiscent of the last appearance of Jimi Hendrix at the Love-and-Peace Festival on Fehmarn. 4th - 6th Sept. 1970

The chaotically organized and expired festival was completely out of control. On the last day, the organizer center was broken to the sounds of the Red Stones (later clay stones shards) "power, what makes you break!" burned down.
