In 2006, after a long lead time, the transfer of a storage reservoir from the core location and a honey reservoir from the Buchholz district succeeded. The owners Arnd Schunert from the Harm-Becker-Hof in Visselhövede and Irmgard von Deylen from the former mill in Buchholz have kindly donated these historic warehouses to the KHV.
On 4 August 2006, the topping-out ceremony could be celebrated, 3 weeks after construction had begun.

In 2013, the character of the Visselhof was upgraded by a bee fence behind the home town, to which a coach house attached. As a result, a courtyard was created at the same time, as a privacy screen to the adjacent fire brigade property.
