The church was built from 1892-1894 in Neo-Gothic style, it lost its bells in both world wars. Since 1959 it is completely available again.

In 1951/1952 and 1987-1990 modifications and renovations took place inside the church. The baptismal font was placed in the sanctuary, the panels for the fallen of the First World War, the paintings of Felix Possart and the canopy over the pulpit removed (Wikipedia).
