    Tips

Dale Head occupies a grand position, its lofty perch overlooking Buttermere, Newlands and Borrowdale. It makes for a quick, if strenuous, Wainwright bag from the Honister Pass, or it can be linked with the likes of Hindscarth and Robinson to the west and High Spy, Maiden Moor and Catbells to the north. However you choose to tackle it, it will richly reward your efforts.
