The herb garden is an idyllic place to stay. Seating options invite you to eat your own lunch. You can also learn interesting facts about the healing power of herbs. A tour can be booked for ten or more people. The garden is open from May to early October from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The first Upper Austrian medicinal herb show and teaching garden for local medicinal plants has existed since 1980. Around 1,000 different species are grown and labeled here on an area of 7,800 m2. In between, seating invites you to linger and the herbs are staged with love. In addition to the knowledge of the medicinal properties of the plants and the color of the flowers, the pleasant scent impresses when you tour the grounds.
There are also herbal products to buy here and we feasted on coffee and cake.

Opening times: May to early October from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There are group offers (from 10 people) with advance booking, such as a herbal tour with a herbalist including tasting of herb specialties, various themed special tours or the possibility of organizing celebrations in the herb garden. Other events can be found on the homepage and every summer there is a big herb festival with a handicraft market.
