"The hamlet of Wolfsfelden was located on this site from 1150 to 1900. In addition to a manor house, outbuildings, and various day laborers' houses, there was also a disreputable inn. This was a thorn in the side of the forestry authorities at the time, so they bought the property and subsequently had it demolished."
