Büyük Çamlıca Camii is the largest mosque in the history of the Republic of Turkey and is located on Çamlıca Hill in Istanbul's Üsküdar district. It is a remarkable structure both for its architectural splendor and its symbolic significance.
The mosque combines traditional Ottoman and Seljuk architecture with modern lines. Its design is inspired by the works of the renowned Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan.Büyük Çamlıca Camii is more than just a place of worship. It is a complex with various cultural and social facilities, including a museum, an art gallery, a library, a conference hall, art studios, and a parking garage for 3,500 cars. From the mosque's courtyard, you can also enjoy a magnificent view of the Bosphorus.
