Opposite the Modello Palace is the Rijeka Market Square, consisting of two pavilions and a fish market, where there is lively hustle and bustle from the early hours of the morning. Between fruit, vegetables, meat and fish, locals and tourists cavort from 7 a.m. in the morning. At midday, at 12 p.m., 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. (depending on the day), the spectacle is already over.
