Leaning bell tower at the Church of the Assumption of Mary in Rijeka. This medieval bell tower was built in the Middle Ages and leans about 40 centimeters from the vertical. Its tilt is caused by foundations built over ancient Roman thermal baths and subsequent ground movements over the centuries.
