Nice place to take a break. Unfortunately, the idyll is currently (2021) a bit destroyed. The ruins of the monastery are supposed to be prepared for tourism. In addition, all of nature has now been flattened around it. You don't have to understand ...

Be careful with all stream crossings: some of the passages are deeper than they look at first glance from the bike and the stones in them are extremely slippery. I recommend making the passages only in summer / late summer and otherwise using the bridges.

Super beautiful brook valley. At some point I stopped counting the stream crossings. I drove to Wirfus and that was 25 for sure! Path was pretty muddy. I'll be back in late summer, then the stream will certainly have less water and you can drive through it more often. I tried it once today and my feet were immediately wet.
