Tips

  • Sebastian Kowalke

The Schilzergraben is a narrow stream valley that drains towards the Moselle. A pleasant hiking trail leads along the stream through a quiet, untouched forest.

Judging by the tracks, you can often see deer or wild boar here on the water.

Scenic ditch with a narrow path. The ditch ends in the vineyards above Pomerania.
Sometimes you walk along the stream, cross it over a bridge and finally the path winds ever higher and the stream disappears in the depths to open in the Moselle.
Part of the Moselsteig. To reach from Kail Cemetery.

Reached via the Moselhöhenweg. Very beautiful impressive brook valley.
