Hiking
The alpine meadows around the Hohensee are a colorful splendor in summer: the devil's claw blooms purple, the dandelions yellow, the alpine roses pink. Frogs, newts and amphibians frolic in the clear waters of the Hohensee and with a little luck you can see chamois on the mountain slopes. The Schladminger Tauern high trail passes by here.
