... also "Kaiser Wilhelm Tower". Highly recommended as it offers a great panoramic view.
Who likes to count steps: The tower has 156-157 depending on the faith.

The large parking lots at Kaltenbronn are noticeable - if you are often relatively alone on the surrounding (long) hiking trails, it is quickly quite crowded on public holidays or weekends.

The Hohloh is a 988.3 m above sea level. NHN [1] high mountain in the northern Black Forest. It is located near the Gernsbacher district Kaltenbronn in the district of Rastatt in Baden-Württemberg. Its summit is the highest point in the city of Gernsbach and in the eastern main ridge of the Northern Black Forest, the ridge between the rivers Murg and Enz. Between the two river valleys runs northeast of the summit plateau at mountain saddle Schwarzmiss (933 m) a mountain pass.
Characteristic of the existing Hohloh Buntsandstein are its extensive summit plateau, including the Hohlohturm (Kaiser Wilhelm Tower) and the protected rain moor with bog lakes on the plateau.

The Hohlohturm lies at an altitude of 984 m above sea level in the Kaltenbronn nature reserve above Gernsbach-Reichental. It is a popular destination for hikers or mountain bikers from the Murg Valley. But also from Enzklösterle and the Albtal lead the way to the Hohlohturm.

Easy to reach from one of the many parking lots at Kaltenbronn.
Can be combined with a path through the moor.

The Hohlohturm, formerly known as the Kaiser Wilhelm Tower, lies on one
    984 meters above sea level
    in the Kaltenbronn nature reserve.
The original tower from 1856 was made of wood and 15 meters high.
The new tower from 1887 was already built of stone and 20 meters high.
It was expanded in 1968 due to the taller trees and today measures 28.6 meters

In good weather you can see very far in every direction. The tower is definitely worth a visit. For the fear of heights, one can also mention that it does not wobble even in wind, you can see nowhere through the ground and the railing is very massive at the top.

The tower stands at a height of over 980 meters above sea level. Open: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is worth going up the approximately 160 steps. This brings you to over 1000 meters above sea level. Very good distant view; weather permitting, the Vosges or even the Alps can be spotted. Recommendation: take binoculars with you.
