Road cycling
The Catholic St. John Nepomuk Church in Neckargemünd was built between 1894 and 1896 in the Neo-Romanesque style. The Catholic congregation celebrated its services from 1707 in the town hall, which was completely rebuilt into a parish church in 1724/25. After John Nepomuk was canonized in 1729, the old, rebuilt town hall church was consecrated in his honor in 1735. At the end of the 19th century, it was decided to build a new, large church. Construction was carried out from 1894 to 1896.
