The original grinding mill was operated with the water of the red. At the latest in 1524, the mill and the hamlet Voggenberg belonged to the monastery Adelberg. Today, the mill is still operating as a flour mill. However, the mill wheel is missing, this work is done by a modern turbine. The building also houses a mill shop
