In 1950, the Bönen farmers' association in Flierich began sinking work for weather shaft 6. The shaft was set three kilometers east of the plant 3/4 and was called the Friedrich shaft. In the same year, the digging of shaft 4 began.

On the Schacht-VI-Weg, a short cycle or hiking trail less than a kilometer long, you will find a "devil's bucket" in an inconspicuous meadow in a clearing in the forest, which stands on the round shaft cover.
