A section of the Pennine Cycleway (NCN 68) that follows the tow path of the Leeds Liverpool canal making a nice change to have some flat terrain after all the ups and downs of the Pennines north of here. I was unable to find a nice canal side pub though.

Cycling

The Anchor Inn pub at Salterforth has re-opened on the Canal side. One warning though that further past Greenberfield Locks there is a Bridge with a sign post pointing in the wrong direction. If you followed it you would be going the wrong way back to Barnoldswick or Colne. It actually points towards Gargrave I nearly fell for it! I am going to tell the Council or whoever is in charge of it. Have fun.
