Incidentally, the brothers were found much later. They were murdered on January 6th, 1945 and only found here on March 6th, 1946, i.e. 14 months later.

At this point, directly on the Belgian-Luxembourg border, the 4 brothers Leonard (born between 1924 and 1927) were murdered by the German occupying power on 6 January 1945, ie at the age of 18 to 21 years.
