"Which is the only lake (!!) in Scotland?" Three miles east of Aberfoyle in the heart of the Trossachs lies the Lake of Menteith, the so-called "Lake!" (LAKE). A boat that can carry 12 passengers departs approximately hourly from the "Port of Menteith" to Inchmahome Priory. Advance booking online is recommended.
