Torbole sul Garda

Torbole, especially known to windsurfers and sailors, is located between the shores of Lake Garda, Monte Baldo and the plain of Piana del Sarca.
The historic village with houses facing Lake Garda impresses with its special beauty. The most idyllic part of Torbole can still guess its past as a fishing and logging village. A walk through the beautiful old village center with the winding streets and corners should not be missed! You will also come across the small harbor with the typical buildings of the Vecchia Dogana (15th century) and the Casa Breust, the main square and the customs house (Casetta del Dazio). Even Goethe was on his trip to Italy between September 1786 and May 1788 quite enraptured by the charm of the village Torbole.

A small touristic town around Lake Garda, Torbole is famous during the summer season for windsurfing (due to its regular wind --l'Ora-- from 12pm onwards everyday) and MTB.

Torbole is located directly on Lake Garda, on the coastal road Gardesana Orientale. In the village, the river Sarca flows into Lake Garda. In Torbole you can stroll along the beach promenade, or go swimming and surfing. There are a variety of restaurants and nightlife is also here. Recommended are the streets in the old town.
