St. Peter's Church in Malmö, a three-aisled basilica with a transept and a cloister, dates back to the early 14th century and is the oldest building in Malmö's city center.

St. Peter's Church was built in the so-called "Baltic Brick Gothic" style and bears a strong resemblance to St. Mary's Church in Lübeck. The church's tower, which incidentally collapsed twice in the 15th century, received its present appearance and the spire only in 1890.

The main building has several additions, of which the double chapel is the oldest. The western part of this chapel was the church's first vestibule, and the eastern part was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary during the Catholic period.

St. Petri Kyrka in Malmö, a three-aisled basilica with a transept and surrounding cloister, dates from the early 14th century and is the oldest structure in downtown Malmö.
The S:t Petri Kyrka was built in the style of the so-called "Baltic Brick Gothic" and shows great resemblance to the Marienkirche in Lübeck. The tower of the church, which incidentally collapsed twice in the 15th century, got its present appearance and the spire only in 1890.

There are a few additions to the main building, of which the double chapel is the oldest. The western part of this chapel was the first vestibule of the church and the eastern part was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary during the Catholic period.
