It's not big, but it's all the more worth seeing. Haslach an der Mühl is home to around 2,500 residents and a refreshing change, especially when you are on the Nordwaldkammweg. One colorful house is lined up after the other - the sights include the old tower with a local museum, the Haslach parish church and a weaving museum.

The tower was built between 1483 and 1487 and was severely damaged in a fire in 1910. Since 1927, the Old Tower, a relic of the former fortification, has housed the Haslach Heimathaus (Haslach Local History Museum).

If you come up here on the granite pilgrimage path from the Große Mühl to Haslach, you know where you have to go, even without a signpost. It literally pulls you through the archway of the tower into the beautiful town center.
