Parish Church of St. Oswald bei Haslach

The small but charming village of St. Oswald bei Haslach not only impresses with a beautiful church and typical refreshment stops, but also with wonderfully green nature in front of and behind its gates. A paradise for hikers but also for mountain bikers.

The church is surrounded by a walled cemetery and partly adjacent buildings such as the vicarage.It is an older building that was redesigned in the late Gothic style. The three-bay, probably Romanesque nave is vaulted with a late Gothic lunette barrel, which shows net ribs over pillars. The retracted Gothic choir has a five-eighth note, the vault shows a ribbed cross and star ribs over probably older circular services. The mighty tower stands in the southern corner of the choir. South of the nave in line with the tower are unified single-storey extensions with portal vestibules and a connecting passage to the tower with a staircase. The western front has a three-story neo-Gothic porch.
