Initially rather easy with climbing areas that can be avoided, then the level of difficulty increases. Quite high ladder (7 - 8? meters).
At the end there is a beautiful view of Sankt Goar, Rheinfels Castle, and (if you know where) the Rheinburgenweg.
The operator of the climb recommends a via ferrata set for children and inexperienced people.
This is certainly beneficial for parents' nerves when it comes to children. If you (or your child) are sure-footed and not afraid of heights, the climb is no problem at all. He's just having fun.

The Rabenacksteig is a scenic climb. It is not too difficult to climb, but if you are scared of heights like me, you will get quite an adrenaline rush here and there. You will be rewarded with a wonderful panorama from the "pulpit" - a rocky peak with the best all-round view. In my opinion, even older school children (from 10 years on) can master the climb if they have strength, coordination, concentration and endurance.
Anyone who notices in between that it is going to be a lot and difficult, just turn around and take the Rheinsteig to Maus Castle or St. Goarshausen - no one breaks the crown and the views are wonderful here too.

The Rheinsteig has an almost alpine character in the ascent/descent over approx. 400 meters!
Very idyllic trail (approx. 100 meters in altitude) along the dry stone walls of abandoned vineyards... 👍
