This is the southernmost of the four historic bridges on the old Dortmund Ems Canal between Datteln and Olfen. All four historic bridges were designed under the direction of the Royal Prussian Chief Building Director Karl Hinckeldeyn.

Well, not “directly”, but close by. On the other side of the underpass there is a good small parking lot for hikers.
