Rimbergturm with shelter: The tower, first erected in 1900, was destroyed by a storm in 1971 and rebuilt in 1997 by the Marburg-Biedenkopf district with the support of the neighboring communities and private donations.

On the summit of the Rimberg stands the 24 m high Rimberg Tower, which was inaugurated on April 30, 1977. It is already the second observation tower on the mountain top, because the first 18 m high wooden tower built around 1900 fell victim to a storm on the night of November 22, 1971. (Wikipedia)
