The Hahnenkammsee is the first body of water in the Franconian Lake District created by the creation of reservoirs. On the bank of the reservoir you will find several nice rest areas, a swimming area and a campsite. The perfect place for a long break.

There is an extra bathing area with a sandy beach. Not as crowded as Brombachsee or Rothsee. There are enough parking spaces (for a fee, but not usury) close to the lake.
