This is a wonderful, community-led conservation project, comprising 500 acres (200 ha), including around 100 hectares (40 ha) of degraded, yet steadily improving, raised bog. The trails here make use of the former railway line, linking earthen path with raised boardwalks to access the various habitats on the site.
