The Glover Garden is a kind of open-air museum, in which mansions of several former foreign inhabitants of the city are exhibited. It is located on a hill where Western merchants settled after the opening of Japan.
The main attraction of the garden is the former Glover House, the oldest western-style wooden building in Japan. Unfortunately it is being restored and can not be visited. But a visit to the garden is well worth it.
