The old church of Højerup
The tremendous forces of nature show the old church of Højerup particularly well. It was built in the 13th century from the limestones of the cliffs. Constant erosion in 1928 meant that the church choir and part of the cemetery fell into the sea. Today, a wall secures the church, which now stands directly on the cliff.
