From Herzogsweg you have a nice view of Aachen's west. The street sign contains the following reference: "Section of the old communication route between the south and the north of the Duchy of Limburg; the route through Belgium and the Netherlands is a monument of euregional transport history. "This section is also part of the long-distance hiking trail" Herzog Limburg Pfad ".

I always have to be careful not to fall off my bike or run over someone...
The view is unique. You look towards the Nordkreis, over Aachen, towards the Eifel, to the three-country point, over Vaals towards Vijlenerbosch. I like to drive up via Brunnenstrasse and Rathausstrasse. In the end I decide to take the Snake Path towards Orsbach (even more views) or down towards Rabenweg/Melaten/Klinikum. But there are also nice branches towards Seffent or Vetschauer Berg.

And even with fog - like today - you don't have a nice view, but wonderful views of fascinating foggy landscapes.
