The small waterfall of the Rechersöldenbach certainly cannot keep up with the height of the Riesloch Falls. The small refuge in the middle of the forest is still a wonderful place for a break away from the hustle and bustle. Wildly romantic!

The hike to the Riesloch Gorge near Bodenmais is one of the most beautiful and impressive hikes in the Bavarian Forest. The 200 m high waterfalls are considered to be the highest in the entire Bavarian Forest. This natural spectacle, surrounded by unspoilt mixed forests, should not be missed.
