The Fasanenschlösschen stands in the municipality Moritzburg near Dresden. It is located in the 1728 created Fasanerie the castle park of Moritzburg. The castle stands at the Niederen Großteich Bärnsdorf near the lighthouse Moritzburg. It is visually connected to the Moritzburg Castle, which lies 2.5 kilometers away, exactly to the west.

Pretty little castle. Pheasants can still be found there, but locked up. In the past, the cages were distributed so that it was nice to hunt.

The Fasanenschlösschen is not far from Moritzburg Castle. Tickets for the visit can be purchased here. If you look towards the water from the Fasanenschlösschen, you can see the lighthouse. This is about 200m away.
