Mountain biking
There, ores were mined in the open pit of the pit Glücksburg in the 1880s. The pond is said to be 18 meters deep, filling a former opencast mine hole.
The shallow pond which is located in the immediate vicinity of the east is the Sandkuhl. This has nothing to do with mining. There, sand was mined for the construction of the highway in the 1930s. The high groundwater has then filled the Kuhle.
