Hiking

Over the years, patients, residents of the home, employees, senior directors, as well as contemporary witnesses and victims of a turbulent history of psychiatry were buried on the area of around 14,100 m². During the First World War, around 450 patients starved to death in the institution. The Mannheim local legend, "Blumepeter" Peter Schäfer (* April 5, 1875 in Plankstadt; † June 15, 1940 in Wiesloch), found his final resting place in the PZN cemetery.

Hiking

Every old cemetery hides a piece of history. Fallen soldiers or former doctors of the old institution, as the PZN used to be called, or the grave of the legendary Mannheimer Blumenpeter. Benches invite you to linger and offer a wonderful view of Wiesloch.

Wow effect, very beautiful place even though it is a cemetery.
