Alsted Forest is a beautiful woodland area not far from Sorø and Fjenneslev in Zealand. It is a peaceful, tranquil place and has a good trail weaving its way through it (The Yellow Route) for about 8 kilometres. The forest is noted for its undulating terrain and beautiful beach and oak trees. Visitors are reminded that this is private land, and you are only able to walk here by the consent of the landowner. Dogs are to be kept on a leash, garbage is to be taken away, and the trail is not open to cyclists.
