Mountain biking
The gorge lies on the southern border of the Lorenzer Reichswald in Middle Franconia. The river forms the border between the district of Nürnberger Land in the north and the district of Roth. Towards the west, the gorge ends at the Brückkanal and in the east south of the Schwarzenbruck district Gsteinach near the nature reserve Schwarzenbrucker moor.
