The souk of Meknès in Morocco is a traditional market in the narrow alleys of the old town. It is much more authentic, quieter, and less touristy than the markets in Marrakech or Fès. Locals mainly shop there. There are carpets, spices, handicrafts, and fresh food at reasonable prices.
